A two-mana protect-and-reach split for Boros midrange in Pioneer, the kind of deck that wants to reset a threat for its enters-the-battlefield trigger and still keep a finisher live. Being a sorcery undercuts the first mode as protection: you cannot blink in response to a removal spell, so the reset works on your own terms rather than as a save. Both modes also need a sizable creature already on the battlefield, a board state the deck does not always have when it draws this. Legal, but yet to register in tracked play this season. No current list asks for it.
