This is an aggro lord, and it belongs to the red go-wide tradition the card's design lineage already names. The commanders that want it are red token and aristocrats-lite builds where the board floods every turn. Krenko, Mob Boss is the cleanest fit: every Krenko activation drops a pile of Goblins, each one re-triggering Wingnut's keyword menu, and the attack pump turns a goblin swarm into lethal a turn early. Judith, Carnage Connoisseur in a Rakdos token shell wants it for the same reason, though there Wingnut competes harder with cards that also feed the sacrifice plan.

This is a Bracket 2-3 card, squarely. The 1/2 body and the Alliance gate make it too slow and too board-dependent for cEDH, where Krenko himself is more a casual finisher than a competitive one, and the effect does nothing in a precon that hasn't committed to the go-wide plan. As a 99 it sits in the anthem-and-evasion submodule alongside Goblin Chieftain, Reckless Bushwhacker, and Hellrider. Against those, Wingnut's distinction is the keyword choice: Chieftain hands the whole team haste and a static buff but no evasion, while Wingnut gives only itself the keyword and spreads the pump on attack. It is the more flexible single card and the worse anthem.

Expect it in the sub-$5 tier on release, the price point where a casual Krenko build should treat it as a five-or-six-deep go-wide payoff rather than a marquee pickup. The multiplayer read is worth flagging: a hasted, evasive Wingnut swinging into one player while pumping a wide board reads as a focused kill, which draws blocks and removal the way any telegraphed alpha strike does. It is invisible in any deck not built to flood, which is most tables.
