In a Limited environment built on fair two-mana 2/2s and three-mana 2/3s, a 3/2 menace for two hybrid mana that asks nothing of the rest of your deck is already a strong tempo piece. The trigger almost never fires in TMT draft (cost reduction is essentially absent at common and uncommon), so read this as a vanilla 3/2 menace with hybrid casting and a corner-case upside against the rare cascade or Sneak interaction that genuinely cheats mana value.
That body is what matters. Three power on turn two pressures the format's 2/3 commons by demanding a removal spell or a double-block, and menace means a single chump never trades. Stomped by the Foot kills it cleanly, Grounded for Life only catches it after combat, and Dimensional Exile costs three: the math favors the attacker more often than not. Hybrid pips mean every red or black deck wants this, and an RB Sneak or aggressive BG Food build picks it P1P3 to P1P5 over most filler two-drops. UR Tempo and WB Midrange take it slightly later, around P1P5 to P1P7, where the menace clock matters more than synergy.
Pair it with Bespoke Bō or Novel Nunchaku and the menace clause turns equipment into reliable damage rather than a stat boost that gets chumped. The ceiling is capped: no Convoke, no Affinity, no free spells in the common pool means the punishment text is functionally blank in 99% of games. Maindeck in any deck that can cast it, and never sideboard out, because the floor (a 3/2 menace for two) already justifies the slot.
