Vanishing is usually a drawback stapled to an undercosted body: a lease with a repossession date built in. Here the lease itself is the payoff. Twelve time counters, one falling each upkeep, each removal handing you a scry and a point of life while the card sits there doing nothing splashy. Then the terminal trigger reframes the whole clock: when the last counter comes off and the enchantment exiles itself, you take an extra turn. That inversion is the design idea worth sitting with. Most extra-turn effects charge a heavy premium up front, because the turn is the whole point; this one gives the turn only after the counter runs dry, so the two-mana price buys a promise rather than a payment. The wrinkle is that the extra turn keys off the counters reaching zero, not off a fixed number of upkeeps, so anything that strips time counters faster shortens the fuse. But the incidental value cuts the other way: the trigger reads "whenever one or more time counters are removed," so it fires once per event regardless of how many counters vanish. Peeling them off one at a time on natural upkeeps nets you a scry and a life every turn for a dozen turns; ripping several off at once with a proliferate-in-reverse effect collapses the fuse but also collapses the number of triggers, trading the incremental filtering for speed to the finish. The extra turn is not the reward for casting the card; it is the reward for finishing it, and the whole design question becomes how quickly you want to.
