WB Food is the home that builds Lita's rotation correctly. The Alliance lock rewards decks that put two or three creatures on the board per turn, and the food subtheme already wants that texture: cheap bodies, sacrifice fodder, life to spend. RW Equipment is the secondary pull, where each creature you suit up is another trigger, though that deck would rather take the counter every turn than rotate into Food it has no use for. Take her P1P3 to P1P5 in any white deck planning to flood: the floor is high enough that a base-white drafter slots her ahead of a second removal spell at that band.
The format's medium speed is what makes the rotation pay. Common creatures sit at 2/2 and 2/3 lines, so Lita's first counter pushes her out of Stomped by the Foot range before the next combat, and the Food mode covers the life you bleed assembling a wider board. The scry leg reads like a throwaway, but with utility lands like Escape Tunnel and TCRI Building crowding the mana base, smoothing the land drop after a curve-out matters more than it looks.
Grounded for Life is the specific punisher: one mana to kill her on the swing-back before the counter mode stacks twice. That caps her below bomb status, since she only scales if you protect the first combat. Pair her with any hybrid two-drop that lets you double-spell on turn three and the rotation runs itself. Maindeck in every white deck that drafts more than ten creatures; sideboard nowhere.
