Cranial Plating
The math that makes this dangerous is that the buff scales off the same resource that powers the deck. In an artifact-dense board, +1/+0 per artifact compounds without bound: every Ornithopter, every Memnite, every mana rock you already played becomes a point of power on whatever creature is carrying the Plating. Most pump-on-a-stick effects are flat numbers paid for once; here the bonus is a function of your engine, so the equipment is strongest exactly when you are already winning, and it turns a board that should be playing the long game into a sudden lethal threat. The black activation is the second blade: rather than paying the listed equip cost and waiting, you can move the Plating to a fresh creature at instant speed, dodging removal aimed at the equipped attacker or springing the whole bonus onto an unblocked body after attackers are declared. That instant-speed reattachment is what gives artifact aggro genuine reach, turning a pile of small bodies into a deck that can swing for the game out of nowhere. The version of the deck this card defines does not durdle; it floods the board with cheap artifacts, lands the Plating, and converts width into a single decisive swing, with the option to relocate the threat in response to whatever answer you were dreading.
