Aggregating small creatures into repeatable life loss is a well-worn black-red idea, but the delivery here is unusual: rather than hang the payoff on a triggered creature ability (an Impact Tremors on entry, a Blood Artist on death), this enchantment reads the attack step itself. Whenever you declare an attack, each defending player loses life equal to the attackers pointed at them, which means the drain scales per opponent, not per swing. A wide board splitting attacks across a multiplayer pod bleeds every opponent simultaneously, so the design rewards a token-swarm shell that wants to attack in every direction rather than commit to one target. It also seeds its own board on entry with two 1/1 Warriors, which is the honest part of the rate: they keep the enchantment from landing dead into an empty battlefield, giving you two bodies to point somewhere the turn after. Two mechanical details matter. First, the effect is life loss, not damage, so it ignores toughness, dodges damage-prevention, and cannot be redirected: the count is tallied when the trigger resolves. Second, because the tally happens before combat damage, blockers thrown in afterward do not shrink the count, though removal that kills attackers before the trigger resolves can. That places it closer to an inevitability engine than a combat trick. On its own it is a slow clock; wired into a go-wide plan it converts every swing into life the defending player simply loses.
