We Ride at Dawn
Two enchantments stapled into one shell, aimed at the legend-dense commander decks that pile multiple legendary bodies onto the table each turn. Convoke on legendary creature spells is the quieter half but the structural one: it lets a wide board pay for the next four- or five-mana legend, tapping creatures to cover generic costs or the colored pips their own color matches. That last clause matters more than it looks, because a swarm of off-color one-drops still cannot pay a double-white pip; the wide board only ramps the legends whose colors your bench actually shares. Even so, it solves a real friction point for tribal-legend builds, which flood the board with cheap bodies and then stall on mana for the expensive ones. The Mercenary engine is the payoff half, keying off the commander's attack rather than any spell you cast, and each token carries a pump ability locked to sorcery speed, so they build a threatening board across turns instead of ambushing a blocker at instant speed. The two halves pull the same way: the tokens feed convoke on your next legend, and the wide board that convoke enables hands the pump ability its targets. It rewards a commander that wants to swing every turn with a bench of legendary spells waiting behind it, at a cost light enough that it does not crowd out the payoffs it exists to accelerate.
