What it rewards is a specific kind of deck, the one that leaves mana open and answers threats reactively, and it converts that posture into a slow, repeatable card advantage without asking you to change your gameplan. The body is incidental. A creature that draws a card every enemy turn is a value engine dressed as a beater, and the enchantment type line matters more than the stats for the decks that want to count enchantment permanents. The lineage is the flash-and-counter shell that has always struggled to close games: it can survive, but it runs out of gas trading one-for-one.
