The trigger reads like a Phyrexian tribal payoff, but the mechanically interesting part is where it puts the reanimation window: in the combat step, gated by the total power of your attacking Phyrexians rather than by mana or by the artifact's own cost curve. That reframes what recursion means here. Instead of paying to reanimate on your main phase, you commit a board to combat and are refunded an artifact scaled to how hard you attacked; a wide swing of small Phyrexians and a single overloaded attacker read identically to the ability, since both add up to a power threshold. Tying the effect to declared attackers is the balancing constraint worth flagging: you cannot loop on a whim at instant speed, you have to actually swing and expose creatures to blocks, so the more power you leave home to protect the artifact, the smaller the artifact you get back. The 3/3 body is a Phyrexian itself, so it counts toward its own threshold and can fire the ability alone when the target is cheap enough. What the card asks for, then, is not a graveyard full of bombs but a graveyard full of artifacts sized to the board you can present, an aggressive engine that rewards attacking with a full team rather than sandbagging.
