White has long owned two distinct board-control tools that rarely coexisted cleanly: the one-sided sweeper that clears heavy hitters while sparing your own smaller creatures, and the go-wide anthem that turns a token board into a threat. This Saga stitches them into a single three-turn arc. Chapter I is a sweeper with a built-in bias toward weenies (anything with power 4 or greater goes to exile, so the wrath punishes fatties and fliers while your one- and two-power army stays home), and Chapters II and III follow with two rounds of permanent +1/+1 counters spread across each creature you control. The sequencing is the whole design: the sweep comes first, clearing the sky, then the growth resolves onto a board you've already tilted in your favor. It rewards a deck built under the exile threshold, so the same card that would gut an opposing midrange curve leaves your creatures untouched and then buffs them twice. The exile clause on Chapter I is the sharp edge (no recursion, no regeneration, no graveyard value for the opponent), which makes it a cleaner answer to indestructible and death-trigger threats than a damage-based board wipe would be. It is a swing built for a token or weenie shell rather than a control deck, closer in spirit to a slow, patient Elspeth than to a reset button.
