Most exile-Sagas are one-sided answers: your opponent's threat leaves for a chapter, then returns on someone else's schedule. This one turns the mechanism outward, exiling for everyone at once. Chapter I hits each player, pulling up to one enchantment or creature per person into limbo; Chapter III then returns only two of the exiled cards and buries the rest at the bottom of their owners' libraries. That gap between what leaves and what comes back is the entire engine. You are not answering a single threat so much as calling a shared reset, then rigging the recovery: because you choose which two permanents return, the ideal table is one where opponents have fed more into the exile pile than you have, so the survivors are the ones you'd want back. You can only ever exile one of your own, so the math almost always favors returning threats that aren't yours to a board where the rest of the pile is gone for good. The middle chapter, two life and a scry 2, is a deliberate stall: it fills the turn between the departure and the homecoming without forcing an early sacrifice. It also blunts the design's real liability, that the exile is contingent on the Saga surviving all three chapters, and any premature removal frees everything at once. The multiplayer symmetry reads less like a removal spell than a communal upheaval you have arranged to walk out of ahead of everyone else.

I — For each player, exile up to one other target enchantment or creature that player controls until this Saga leaves the battlefield. II — You gain 2 life and scry 2. III — Return two cards exiled with this Saga to the battlefield under their owners' control and put the rest on the bottom of their owners' libraries.
