Unyielding Gatekeeper
Flexible exile at instant speed is expensive to buy in white, and this design charges for it twice: once to hide the creature face down, again to flip it up and fire the trigger. The reward is a conditional answer that removes almost anything nonland, with the downside scaled to whom it hits. Point it at an opponent's permanent and you exile it outright but hand back a 2/2 Detective as compensation, closer to a taxed polymorph than a clean kill, since the target is gone but replaced with a body. Point it at your own permanent and it returns to the battlefield tapped, converting the exile into a blink you can time to re-trigger an enters-the-battlefield effect or dodge targeted removal in response. That self-targeting clause is the wrinkle that separates this from a straightforward disguise removal creature: it is both an answer and an engine piece depending on which way you aim it. The disguise shell earns its keep beyond bluffing, converting a fragile 3/2 into a warded 2/2 that sits on the board as a threat of interaction, forcing an opponent to play around a flip they cannot see coming. The whole package leans on white's oldest tension with hard removal: it gets the effect, but pays in mana, in tempo, and in the resource it usually hands the opponent back.
