Five colors of identity attached to a payoff that cares about none of them: the WUBRG stripe buys deckbuilding permission and nothing more, because no line of the card asks you to spend a single one of those colors again. That is the whole design gambit. The body is fragile until you stack lore, then it flips into a hexproof, indestructible threat gated behind four counters spread across Sagas you control, so the protection scales with your commitment to the archetype rather than arriving for free. The real engine is the second ability, which turns every Saga you finish into a fresh one: resolve a final chapter, dig for the next Saga, drop it in ready to start reading again. Because it fires once per turn, the design refuses to loop; it rewards a wide board of overlapping Sagas rather than a single recursion trick. The clever part is what it does to Saga as a mechanic. Sagas were built to expire, to read their story and leave; here they become a self-replacing resource, the thing that was supposed to end handing you its own successor. The flavor lands cleanly on the mechanics too. A being outside the story's stakes, indifferent to the ring of power, who exists to sing and to watch tales unfold. The card literally cannot be touched once enough stories are in motion, and its job is to keep the stories coming.
