Thunderous Velocipede
Green counter-generation has usually lived on static engines that sit back and multiply what you already have: Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, the enchantment you build a whole deck around. This puts the payoff on a 5/5 trampling Vehicle body instead. The counter grant is not a doubler; it is a flat per-permanent bonus keyed to mana value, handing your cheaper creatures and Vehicles one extra counter each while anything of mana value 5 or greater arrives with three. That threshold is where the math gets interesting: the bonus tilts toward the top end, so a board of big Vehicles and expensive creatures each enter three counters larger, while your one-drops still pick up a single counter apiece. Crew 3 keeps it grounded. It is a Vehicle, so it needs bodies tapped to swing, and those same bodies are what its ability has been fattening as they entered. What no static enchantment can replicate is the sequencing dependency: the effect exists only while the Velocipede is on the battlefield and only pays out on permanents entering after it. Getting it down early is the whole calculus; every creature and Vehicle deployed afterward is worth more than it reads, and the biggest ones benefit most. Its own Trample is almost incidental, a way for a 5/5 frame to close on a stalled board while the counters it hands out do their work on everything around it.
