The token factory and the payoff live in the same box, which is the whole trick. Most artifact-sacrifice engines split the labor: something makes fodder, something else rewards the fodder for dying, and the deck stitches them together across two or three cards. Here the activated ability manufactures a 1/1 flying Thopter, and the death trigger cashes those same Thopters into cards when they die, so a single artifact does both halves of the aristocrats loop by itself. The card draw is deliberately throttled: it fires once per turn regardless of how many artifact creatures hit the graveyard, which reins in what would otherwise be a runaway engine in any board wipe or wide sacrifice turn. That once-per-turn clause is the leash on an otherwise open-ended trigger; it also means the value is a slow drip rather than a burst, rewarding a deck that can create and lose one artifact creature every turn rather than dumping ten at once. The Thopter it makes is not just fuel: a stream of evasive bodies matters strategically, since the flying tokens give the engine a clock even when nothing is dying. It reads as a low-key value piece, but the design is a compact, self-contained sacrifice loop with the draw payoff and the token supply welded together, which is a tidier package than the genre usually offers.
