Symmetrical card draw is the oldest bargain in white: Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, the whole family of Group Hug engines that hand everyone extra cards and hope you profit more than the table does. What separates this design is the tax it collects on the deal. The enter-the-battlefield draw is a genuine gift, offered to a chosen opponent as a peace treaty, and if that opponent accepts while it isn't their turn, the very card meant as an olive branch mints your first Treasure. From there the standing ability turns opponents' off-turn draws into tapped Treasures for you, once each turn. That "if it isn't that player's turn" clause is the whole engine's fulcrum: it ignores the draw step (which happens on an opponent's own turn) and rewards the instant-speed card draw, cantrip loops, and wheel effects that fire during someone else's window. Because the trigger fires once each turn rather than once per round, a full table can feed it several times before the crank returns to you, so the mana it generates scales with how draw-hungry the pod is. The 0/3 body signals the intent plainly: this is a value node meant to survive incidental damage, not attack, sitting behind the ramp it quietly generates. Where a Group Hug piece typically ramps the whole table into their payoffs, this one converts the table's greed into your mana, and the "once each turn" throttle is what stops any single explosive draw from minting a stack of Treasures at once.
