Sun Titan
The cleanest of the mythic Titan cycle, and the one whose engine has aged best. The mana-value-three-or-less restriction is what turns a generic graveyard recursion into a deckbuilding constraint with teeth: it cuts off the obvious value targets (the bombs, the haymakers) and rewards a curve full of small permanents that each justify a return on their own. Lands count, which is the wrinkle that elevated it from a midrange beater into the centerpiece of dedicated loops; pair it with a permanent that can sacrifice and a flicker effect at the right value, and the recurring trigger becomes an engine rather than a one-shot. The trigger firing on attack as well as on entry is the detail that keeps the card honest over a long game: it does not need to be reanimated repeatedly, it just needs to swing, and the vigilance means it does so without dropping its guard. As a 6/6 it closes games on its own clock; as a recursion engine it grinds attrition matchups into rubble. That dual identity, an honest beater stapled to a value loop whose ceiling depends entirely on the small permanents you choose to surround it with, is why it has outlasted most of its contemporaries in formats where six mana buys a game-ending threat.
