A 2/4 body that pumps the rest of your team and mints an Ally reads like an anthem stapled to a value engine, but the design's real cleverness is in what it refuses to reward. The token trigger fires once each turn, and only on your own turn: fetch a land, blink a creature, sacrifice a token, and you bank exactly one 1/1 Ally no matter how much else churns through the same phase. That double clamp (once per turn, your turn only) is the balancing lever. Without it, a two-white anthem attached to a body this durable would turn any sacrifice loop into a cascade of tokens; with it, the engine becomes a steady drip that rewards a board already in motion rather than a combo assembled in one shot. The two halves feed each other without a dedicated shell: the +1/+0 widens every token the trigger manufactures, and the trigger manufactures those bodies from permanent churn (lands cracking, tokens dying, creatures flickering) that a value deck was already generating. Restricting the trigger to your own turn also denies you tokens from instant-speed sacrifice or removal on opposing turns: the reward stays tied to your initiative, not to any permanent leaving at any moment. The Ally type on the tokens is a quiet callback to a tribe that spent years wanting precisely this: a leader that pumps the team and replenishes it in the same slot.
