Subterranean Schooner
Crew 1 is the number that makes this Vehicle work. Explore has usually lived on creatures that pay the cost by existing: a body walks in, digs, and either grows or nets a land. Bolting the trigger to a Vehicle instead means the explore fires on attack and lands on whichever creature turned it on, so a single one-power dork can tap in, animate a 3/4, and then take the +1/+1 counter (or the card into hand) itself. That splits the explore payoff from the exploring body in a way most explore cards do not allow, and it rewards a crewer worth growing rather than the chassis's own stats. The design pays for this by gating the explore behind an attack, which pushes you to swing every turn to keep the engine turning over; a 3/4 for two is sized to bully small blockers and stay in the red zone. The counters compound: each successful non-land explore leaves the chosen creature a little bigger, and over a few attacks the crewer that started as a mana source ends up a genuine threat while the Schooner keeps carding you toward lands. It is repeatable card selection stapled to a workmanlike beater, with the value routed through the pilot rather than the hull.
