Stormscape Master
Each member of the Invasion Master cycle wears its colors on its sleeves: a creature of one color whose two activated abilities are paid for entirely in the off-colors that flank it on the wheel. Here that means a blue Wizard whose buttons are white and black, and the off-color costs are the whole bargain. To unlock either ability you have to be running outside your nominal color identity, which is precisely the gold-card behavior Invasion was built to reward. The white tap grants protection from a color of your choice, a defensive trick flexible enough to fog an attacker, save a target from removal, or push a blocker through a stalled board; the black tap is a repeatable two-point Drain Life on a stick, a slow but inexorable life-swing engine that asks nothing but mana and time. Two double-pip activation costs in colors the body itself does not produce keep the rate honest: this is not a card you splash, it is a card that demands you commit to all three colors to see everything it offers. As a piece of the cycle it represents the set's central thesis (multicolor play as the point rather than the bonus) compressed into a single 2/2: a creature that does nothing in mono-blue and everything in Esper.
