Magecraft turned a cast-trigger into a currency, and this Dwarf pushed the mechanic from incremental to dangerous. Each qualifying spell and each copy mints a Treasure, and those Treasures carry the whole payload: they are ramp, but they are also artifacts that grow the body, storm-count fodder, and mana that comes back when you sacrifice them. That refundability is why the card lives in combo shells instead of fair value decks. Once the artifact count and a mana-neutral loop line up, a cheap ritual or a copy effect chains into itself, because every cast both advances the count and pays for the next one. The +1/+0-per-artifact clause runs quietly underneath and is genuinely static: any artifacts on your side (Treasures made elsewhere, mana rocks, whatever fills the board) pump the creature independent of what you cast this turn. Attacking is an afterthought, but a deep enough Treasure pile can turn a small red body into a lethal swing from a standstill. What it comes down to is a hand of cantrips and copy spells becoming a mana engine that snowballs faster than a four-mana 2/2 has any right to. Cast-triggered token makers existed for years before it, but the Treasure specifics (real mana, real artifacts, real sacrifice value) are what pushed the archetype from cute to combo-relevant.
