A dual land whose price tag is set by the number of chairs at the table. When two or more opponents sit across from you, the conditional evaporates and this enters untapped, producing red or green from the first turn with none of the usual costs a fixing land extracts: no shockland life payment, no fetch to dig for it, no basic-type requirement to satisfy. The lineage runs through the original taplands and the gain-life-or-enter-tapped duals, but those carry a fixed tax in every game, paid the same whether you face one opponent or three; here the tax is keyed entirely to how many people you are playing against, so the same card reads as an untapped dual in a crowded pod and a plain tapland in a duel. That split is deliberate: the cycle was engineered to be a manabase upgrade in exactly the seat it was made for and a downgrade everywhere else, with nothing in between. It produces no special land types, so it dodges nothing and enables nothing beyond the two colors it taps for, which keeps the design clean where it actually earns its slot untapped. The payoff is pure tempo, not synergy: fast mana in the right context, dead weight in the wrong one, and the card never pretends to be anything more.
