Southern Paladin

Creature — Human Knight2 generic manaWhite manaWhite mana

The design idea is to take the old sideboard hate enchantment and rebuild it as a repeatable, untap-step weapon with a body attached. Where a one-shot artifact or instant might erase a single red threat, this Knight turns that grudge into a standing fixture of the board, taxing every red permanent your opponent commits while it survives. The two-white activation is what balances the open-ended destruction: the target can be any red permanent (creatures, lands, artifacts, enchantments alike), but the cost asks you to hold up both white sources and a tap each turn, so the lock runs only while you keep spending real tempo on it. It belongs to a tradition Wizards has largely retired: the mono-colored hate creature that punishes one specific enemy color rather than answering the broad board. White's wedge against red here is total in scope but slow in clock, a 3/3 that does nothing to red unless you feed it mana turn after turn. The card descends from an era when color identity was something you could be directly, mechanically punished for choosing, and the sideboard math was a duel between your colors and theirs rather than between archetypes.
