Sunburst has always lived on the artifact being cast: the mechanic reads the colors you spent to pay for a permanent and hands out counters to match, so a monocolor cast lands a single counter and the five-color pile lands five. The move here is to peel that arrangement off the payoff card and graft it onto a mana source. Tap this rock and it adds one mana of any color, and it grants sunburst to the next artifact spell you cast that turn. The permanent that ends up covered in counters no longer needs the keyword printed on it: any artifact becomes a sunburst target for one turn, and the size of the reward is gated by how many distinct colors you can pour into that single casting rather than by what the beneficiary's text was born with. Creatures arrive with +1/+1 counters, everything else with charge counters, both scaled to the rainbow you managed to assemble in one breath. The constraint keeping it honest is the window: the grant attaches only to your next artifact spell and lapses when the turn ends, so the tap wants to fire in the same sequence as the cast, not banked for later. As a mana source it is a plain any-color rock with strict upside, functioning like Manalith while carrying a rider; the discipline is in timing the sunburst turn, not in the mana itself.
