Skyship Stalker
The firebreathing dragon, miniaturized and turned into a mana sink with three switches. Most cheap dragons either come in big and dumb or rely on a single pump line; this one splits its red activations into three distinct levers, each costing one red mana, so the same body can become an evasive beatstick, a combat ambush that wins blocks above its size, or a surprise attacker the turn it lands. The 3/3 flying frame is small for four mana on its own, which is the point: the stat line is deliberately undersized so the activated suite carries the value, and the value only shows up when you have red mana to spare. First strike on a creature you can also pump turns the firebreathing into a genuine combat trump rather than just a damage boost, since the +1/+0 lands before damage and lets it survive exchanges it has no business surviving. Haste from a dedicated activation is the quieter line, but it means the card never sits idle the turn it arrives. None of the three abilities does anything when you are mana-screwed, and all three reward a deck flooded with untapped red sources late, which is the trade a flood insurance dragon is built to make: small when the game is tight, oppressive when the mana opens up.
