Rowan's Stalwarts
A tutor stapled to a body, built for a single named target: this searches out Rowan, Fearless Sparkmage and nothing else. It answers to a narrow tradition of "companion" creatures that fetch a specific legend into hand, a way for a set to sell a story beat mechanically without warping constructed play. The 5/2 for five is the tell: this is deliberately soft, a body that trades one-for-one into almost any blocker and dies to nearly every burn spell in the game. What you pay the extra mana for is the guarantee that your planeswalker is in hand, whether it started in your library or had already hit the graveyard. That graveyard clause is the quietly generous part, since it means a Rowan that died or got discarded is not gone; the search reaches into both zones. Outside a deck actively building around that one legend, the card does nothing but present a fragile beater. That dependency defines the design at its core: the tutor is worthless without the target it names.
