Discard-on-a-body is a strategy black has always wanted to bundle into something that also attacks, and here the delivery mechanism is a Vehicle rather than a creature. That distinction is the whole strategic wrinkle: the enters-the-battlefield discard fires the moment this hits the battlefield, but until you crew it the 4/3 is an inert artifact, immune to sorcery-speed creature removal, invisible to edict effects, and safe from anything that only reads "creature." An opponent holding a spot-removal spell has to weigh whether to point it at the crewing dorks instead, since killing those is the only reliable way to keep the body from swinging. The crew cost of 2 is cheap enough that a single small attacker or a leftover token turns it live, so the disruption tax on the opponent's hand comes stapled to a threat that can dodge the very answers black usually invites. It is a hand-attack piece for decks that want their disruption to keep applying pressure rather than trading down, and the Vehicle chassis is what lets the same permanent do both jobs at once without exposing itself between attacks.
