Two proactive answers to two of aggressive midrange's oldest problems, stapled to one enchantment. The uncounterable clause protects a curve of fatties from the exact interaction that punishes ramp-into-threat plans: the counterspell that leaves you tapped out with nothing on board. Riot handles the other half, the tension every big-creature deck lives with between committing early and swinging for lethal. Instead of forcing the choice, it hands it to you per creature, per moment: a haste creature that attacks the turn it lands, or a permanent body one size larger that dodges under a specific damage-based sweeper and trades up in combat. That the choice is made on entry, not fixed by the card, is what keeps riot from feeling like a compromise; each threat gets the mode the board state actually wants. Holding the design in check is that it does nothing for the turn you spend on it: three mana that leaves no creature and grants nothing until the next spell resolves, a real cost in a color pair that would rather be applying pressure. It also touches only nontoken creatures, so tokens get none of the counters or haste. The payoff lands for decks already committed to a creature-dense plan rather than one that manufactures value from nothing: an anthem-shaped effect that speeds the clock and hardens it against interaction in the same slot.
