Energy has spent most of its life as a resource that lives in a deck's spells and comes out during the combat step: attackers make it, payoffs spend it. Folding both halves onto a single Equipment creature is the wrinkle here. Because Reconfigure gives it a body of its own, it generates energy by attacking directly, then hands that same accumulating counter pool to whatever it later gets bolted to, and the +X/+X reads off your total energy rather than the counters this card alone produced. That makes it a battery and a payoff in one card: the longer the game runs, the wider every swing, and the energy it banks does not evaporate between attacks, it compounds. The alternate Reconfigure cost of three energy is the tension worth noticing, since it lets the card feed on the same resource it produces to relocate itself onto a fresh threat, though doing so drains the pool that fuels the pump. Rhinos are a light tribal joke on top of a serious engine, but the real design work is in the Equipment framing: it solves the classic problem of an aura or buff dying with its host by letting the buff walk in as a 3/3 and reattach later, carrying its accumulated energy with it rather than starting the count over.
