Raven Clan War-Axe

Artifact — Equipment1 generic manaRed manaWhite mana

The tutor stapled to an Equipment is the whole trick here. Most equipment earns its keep only once it hits a creature; this one pays off the moment it resolves, fetching a specific legendary from either library or graveyard straight to hand before the +2/+0 and trample ever matter. That entry trigger reframes the card as a two-for-one: half a combat buff, half a search engine for Eivor, Battle-Ready. The design leans on a named-card tutor rather than a category, which keeps the ceiling contained (you can only ever assemble one intended pairing) while giving the deck it lives in a reliable path to its centerpiece. The trample line is the quietly load-bearing half: on a single equipped creature, +2/+0 and trample turn a would-be chump block into a race the blocker loses, and the equip cost lets you shift that pressure onto a fresh threat as the board changes. The graveyard clause is the underrated part; it means the tutor still works when the target has already been milled or discarded, so the equipment doubles as recursion for a card you might otherwise have lost. It is a two-card engine folded into one printing, built so that finding the second card is baked into casting the first.
