Rally at the Hornburg

Sorcery1 generic manaRed mana

The haste rider is the part that changes the math. Two 1/1 tokens for the cost is a rate red has been minting since the earliest wide-and-fast decks, close cousins to the pairs of Goblins and Soldiers the color has stamped out for years. What separates this one is that it doesn't just add bodies to the board; it lets the freshly made and other newly arrived Humans join an alpha strike the turn it resolves. Cast on an empty board, it's a modest two-power investment. Cast into a developed board of Humans, it's a burst of attacking damage from the new tokens and any just-added Humans the opponent had no combat step to plan for, since the summoning-sickness clock on those creatures evaporates. That's the design tension in a token spell aimed at a tribe: the value of the go-wide effect scales with how many creatures the rider can wake up, which means the card rewards holding it until the board is built rather than curving it out early. It reads as a supporting piece and functions as a finisher, the payoff for a red-white Human deck that has already committed to flooding the board and now needs a way to convert that width into lethal in a single turn.
