Quickbeam, Upstart Ent

Legendary Creature — Treefolk4 generic manaGreen manaGreen mana

Treefolk have always had the bodies and never the tempo: fat, slow, and reactive, the tribe that dares you to attack into a wall rather than one that dictates the race. This flips that posture. Every Treefolk that enters, itself included, hands out a combat pump that turns a wide but plodding board into a swing that connects, and the trample rider is the operative word: the tribe's own oversized toughness means nothing to the pump target's evasion, so blockers stop mattering. The design is doing something quietly aggressive with a defensively-coded creature type. Because the trigger keys on Treefolk entering rather than casting, it rewards flicker and reanimation as readily as hardcast beefsticks, and it stacks: three Treefolk arriving in a turn is three separate +2/+2-and-trample pulses, each targeting up to two creatures, which is how a stalled board becomes lethal in a single main phase. The 5/6 frame is almost incidental; the payoff lives in what it does to the creatures around it, making the rest of the forest hit like it looks like it should. It is a design built to convince Treefolk that they were always supposed to be the beatdown.
