Pyrotechnic Performer

Disguise is normally a combat surprise: hidden power and toughness paid for up front, revealed on your terms to blow out a block or dodge removal. This Lizard Assassin repurposes the mechanic's central action into a damage engine. Because the trigger fires whenever any face-down creature you control is turned face up, not just this one, a board of masked bodies stops being a tempo threat and becomes a burn plan you assemble across several turns. Each unveil sends damage equal to that creature's power to each opponent, so the question the card poses is not whether a single flip is worth revealing your hand, but how many creatures you can turn face up at once and how much reach that scaled damage adds up to. The tension is that every card sitting face down is a creature you paid a hidden-information premium to conceal rather than cast at its printed rate, so wide, patient boards fuel the engine while a slow start leaves you holding overpriced 2/2s. The body itself is fragile and unevasive once it shows its face; its reason to exist is converting the reveal into direct damage that a deck built on disguise creatures otherwise cannot generate.
