The firebreathing-with-a-catch design, stripped to its skeleton. The mana sink lets it grow without limit so long as you keep feeding red into it, which makes the body look threatening on paper: pour in three or four mana and the attack steps swing wide. The "can't block" clause is the discipline that prices the rate. It cannot defend, so every point you sink is committed to offense, and the card never doubles as a wall the way a plain firebreather would. That tradeoff puts the whole design on a single axis: it is a damage-dealer that wants to be unblocked and untouched, and any disruption (a single removal spell in response to the pump, a chump block that eats the swing) erases the investment in one beat. Firebreathing creatures have ranged from the all-purpose to the heavily taxed, and this one sits near the bottom of that ladder by intent: a small body, no defensive value, and a sink that demands you spend on the turn it matters rather than banking it. The flavor reads off the stat line cleanly enough: a tiny, all-aggression lizard that hits harder the more you fuel it and folds the moment something hits back.
