Prompto Argentum

Legendary Creature — Human Scout1 generic manaRed mana

The reward condition is the whole design puzzle: a Treasure only appears when you've spent at least four mana casting a noncreature spell, which quietly disqualifies the cheap burn and cantrips a two-mana red creature would normally sit beside. That threshold pushes the card away from tempo aggro and toward a bigger-spell shell, where four-plus-mana noncreature payoffs are already the game plan and the Treasure exists to accelerate into the next one. It is a ramp piece dressed as a beater, and the disguise earns its keep: haste means the 2/2 can start pressuring the turn it lands while the deck waits for its expensive spells to come online, so the body pulls its weight even when the trigger sits idle. The more interesting behavior is the loop it flirts with, since a Treasure made by one big spell can help cast the next one that fires the trigger again, giving decks built around repeatable high-cost casts a mana engine that compounds as the spell count climbs. The whole design lives on that four-mana line: set it lower and it becomes a generic token maker, set it higher and it never fires. Pinning it at four rewards exactly the archetype that struggles most to keep its mana flowing, which is the kind of targeted incentive that reads as filler until you build the deck it was written for.
