Creature — Faerie1 generic manaBlue mana

The whole conceit of dice-matters as a mechanic is that variance is the price you pay for the payoff, and this Faerie quietly renegotiates that price. Every roll turns into advantage in the tabletop sense the name borrows from: roll an extra die, drop the worst result, and your effective floor climbs while your ceiling stays fixed. It does not guarantee outcomes, but it bends the distribution hard toward the good half of the range, which turns a gambling deck into something closer to a value engine. What makes it more than a single tuning knob is that it stacks: pile up rollers and each Grant an Advantage compounds with everything else adding dice, so a board that used to swing wildly starts printing reliable high rolls. All of this operates from behind a 1/3 flying body, which is what stops the card from collapsing into pure enablement: it holds the ground against small flyers, chips in the air, and blocks a two-power attacker all day without dying. A build-around this narrow usually has to justify its slot on the payoff alone, but the flying body means the card is doing honest work in the turns before you draw into a die worth rolling. That is the line between a functional enabler and a dead card waiting on the rest of the deck to assemble itself.

Flying Grant an Advantage — If you would roll one or more dice, instead roll that many dice plus one and ignore the lowest roll.
