Discover was built as a cascade variant tuned for low curves: dig through your deck until you hit a nonland card cheap enough to clear a fixed ceiling, then cast it free or bank it in hand. This card inverts the incentive. By keying the discover value to each Dinosaur's toughness rather than its mana cost, it turns a mechanic that punishes fat spells into one that scales with your fattest creatures. Its own 4/4 body discovers 4 when it enters; a bigger Dinosaur pushes that number to a value most discover cards never reach, and because that toughness figure sets the mana-value ceiling, it is the only gate. The once-each-turn clause is the leash: without it, every Dinosaur entering would chain into a full board dump. Instead the ability asks you to sequence, to decide which creature's toughness you spend the discover on, and it fires the turn it lands because its own entry counts. The design reads as a synthesis of two older Naya impulses: the ramp-into-fatties payoff and the go-wide tribal board, stitched together by a keyword that hands you a free spell for playing big bodies. What it resolves is a quiet reversal: toughness, usually the least aggressive stat and the one that just sits on defense, becomes the card-advantage resource. Your most durable Dinosaurs are also your deepest dig, not merely your best blockers.
