The graveyard ability is the part worth your attention, and it inverts how most expensive fliers earn their keep. The living body is honest enough: a 5/5 flier for seven that hands evasion to one creature on the way in, midrange filler a control or skies deck runs without ceremony. But once it dies it stops being a creature and becomes a finisher parked in the yard: pay , exile it, and the whole board gains flying until end of turn. A table full of ground-stuck bodies suddenly has a one-shot alpha strike. The activation carries no timing restriction, so it plays at instant speed, but the mechanics of blocking dictate the useful window: to slip your team over a low board you have to grant flying before blockers are declared, which means any time from your first main phase through the declare-attackers step. Once your creatures are attacking but blockers have not yet been assigned, the activation still lands the swing over the top; wait until blocks are declared and a ground blocker that was already legal keeps its assignment even after the attacker sprouts wings. Read correctly, the ability is a threat you deploy up to the moment attackers are declared, not a trick you hold through combat, which is why the dead copy pressures the game more than the live one ever did. Flying is not unblockable (fliers and reach still trade), but against a grounded board the swing usually goes clean. The exile cost is what limits it to a single decisive activation, so the reward goes to whoever banks it for the killing turn.
