Nature's Revolt
A symmetrical enchantment that turns the most basic resource in the game into a battlefield, and the symmetry is exactly where the design lives. Animating every land on both sides looks even on paper, but the green player who casts this is rarely the one who suffers from it: the trick is to break parity in advance, with a mass removal spell, a global pump, or an attack step lined up before the lands matter as blockers. The most pointed application is destruction, not aggression. Once all lands are creatures, anything that sweeps the board sweeps both players' mana, and a green deck built on fast acceleration is the side that recovers fastest. The danger cuts the other way too: a land that is a creature can be burned, bounced, or edicted, and the card hands an opponent's removal a fresh set of targets it never had before. That self-inflicted fragility is the cost that keeps the effect honest; you are not getting an army for free, you are converting your manabase into something every removal spell on the table can now interact with. The lineage of land-animation has mostly run toward one-sided versions, where you keep your lands and your opponent does not. Casting parity instead and building to exploit it is the harder, more interesting version of the idea, and it asks the deck to answer a question the card refuses to answer on its own: who is better positioned when the ground turns to creatures?
