Multiclass Baldric

The clearest piece of rules-text advocacy for the party mechanic ever printed: a one-mana Equipment that reads like a checklist of everything the four class types can offer, then pays out in full for assembling all of them. Each class grants one keyword, so the Baldric scales with how diverse your board is rather than how wide it is: a lone Cleric buys lifelink and nothing else, but a Cleric, a Rogue, a Warrior, and a Wizard turn the equipped creature into a lifelinking, deathtouching, hasty flier. Assemble the full party and the payout tips from incremental to absurd. Preventing all damage to the equipped creature converts a modest evasive threat into something that attacks without risk and blocks anything without dying, and it does so through prevention rather than protection or indestructibility, which means it shrugs off combat and burn alike while leaving the creature vulnerable to exile and sacrifice. The tension the card resolves is that party, as a mechanic, tends to reward simply having the four types on the board without asking much of the creatures themselves; the Baldric answers that by giving the assembled party a single figurehead worth all the keywords at once. Everything hangs on the roster: no party, and it is four conditional abilities that may all read as blank.
