Group-hug designs usually decouple the giving from the getting: you feed the table one card at a time and pray your private engine outruns the goodwill. The twist here is that generosity and payoff fire from the same trigger, and the trigger tracks how often it has resolved this turn. Every spell you cast forces an opponent to draw, grows a creature with a +1/+1 counter, and hands that creature flying until end of turn. Cast a single spell and it is pure Howling Mine politics: you keep the table fed while surviving on a 1/5 vigilance body that blocks all day and asks for very little. Cast a second, and the same ability resolving twice flips the math in your favor: on that second resolution you draw two, pulling ahead of the opponent you just gifted. The doubling clause is the entire calculus. It punishes dribbling spells out one per turn and rewards a deck built to chain two or more cheaply, so the incentive is to hold and unload rather than trickle. The stat line is not incidental to that plan: a 1/5 with vigilance can keep attacking through the counters it accrues while soaking up the aggression its own card-drops invite. Generosity structured as bait, with the reward hidden not in a single counter but in the timing of when the trigger stacks on itself.
