That dependency is the whole trade: a deck running snow lands as fixing or as fuel for other snow payoffs gets removal stapled to a land slot for almost no deckbuilding tax, while a deck without snow sources cannot even activate it. The result is a land that asks nothing of you most of the time and asks for your entire turn the moment you need it to kill something.
