The attack trigger is built in two tiers, and the gap between them is entirely about whether you cooked something this turn. Swinging with the base body hands the whole team a modest +1/+1, a fine but unremarkable anthem-on-a-stick. Make a Food token first, though, and the same attackers untap and pick up an additional +2/+2, arriving at a much bigger number and untapped to boot. That untap clause is the sharp corner, though not for the reason it first looks like: it does not let those creatures attack again this combat, since the attack step is already spent. What it buys is pseudo-vigilance, your alpha-strikers left standing to block on the crackback or to feed a tap ability the turn you commit everyone to the red zone. The requirement is a demanding sequencing puzzle rather than a passive loop: the Food has to enter on the exact turn you're already turning creatures sideways, so a Green-adjacent Food engine (the kind more often associated with Golgari or Abzan aristocrats) has to fire in step with your attack rather than grind at its own pace. As a five-mana 3/3 with haste and trample, the horse itself is deliberately plain; the printed body is a rounding error next to what the trigger does to a developed board. It's a payoff piece wearing a beater's costume, keyed to an enabler you have to have already assembled before the second tier ever unlocks.
