Methods of the Mighty
White's answer to the color's long-standing efficiency problem: individually, each of these three effects would be a mediocre, overpriced card, but stapling them onto one instant and letting you buy any combination turns a pile of filler into a genuine tempo swing. The "choose one or more" template lets a single card scale from a one-line answer to a full sweep of value depending on the board. Artifact destruction and the tapped-creature clause both trade at instant speed, which is where this card does its sharpest work: catching an attacker mid-combat after it has committed, or blowing up a mana rock or equipment the moment it matters, all while the anthem clause can pump your team on the same cast to punch through or stabilize. The tapped-creature restriction is the tax that keeps the removal honest; it cannot answer a fresh threat sitting back on defense, only one that is already tapped. It is a card built for a wide board, where the +1/+1 counter mode alone justifies the mana and the two destruction lines are upside you were happy to have already paid for.
