Marshal's Anthem
Multikicker is the mechanic that lets a single card scale from a clean four-mana anthem into a full-board reanimation engine, and this enchantment puts both ends of that range on the same card. At its base it is a static team buff, the kind of effect white has printed in many shapes. The kicker payments change what kind of card it is: each repeat of the additional cost increases X, and the enter-the-battlefield trigger returns that many creature cards from your graveyard straight to play. Pay it once and you get a modest rebuild; pour mana into it late and you stage a mass reanimation that also leaves the anthem behind to pump everything that comes back. The structural trick is that the recursion is a one-time entry trigger while the +1/+1 is permanent, so the card front-loads its mana into a single explosive turn and keeps paying off afterward as a board-wide buff. A straight reanimation spell spends itself and is gone; here the bodies and the engine arrive in the same cast, and the engine never leaves. It rewards a graveyard stocked with creatures and a turn where you have mana to burn, asking you to bank resources for one decisive, repeatable swing rather than a steady drip of value.
