Mana Geyser
A ritual that prices itself off everyone else's turn. The premise inverts the usual relationship between you and the rest of the table: every land an opponent has tapped to cast a spell, activate an ability, or pay for their own development becomes red mana on your side, so the more the board is doing, the more this returns. Built into that premise is its own dead-card scenario: against a board of untapped lands it generates nothing, which means it is not a curve-filler but a held payoff, a card you sit on until the opponents have committed their resources. The lineage runs through the big-burst red rituals that ask you to assemble a single explosive turn, but where most of those pay a fixed rate, this one floats its yield against the live game state, which makes it both unreliable and, at the right moment, the largest single mana spike red can manufacture. The synergy that matters is anything that forces opponents to tap out (a land-tapper, a Stasis-style lock, or simply waiting until everyone has dumped their hands), not effects that untap lands, which work directly against the count. The math turns absurd as the number of opponents climbs, since the tapped-land total scales with each one. Refund spell wearing a ritual's clothes: the reward is entirely a function of someone else's expenditure.
