Land destruction on a body has always fought the same problem: strip an opponent's land and you fall behind on the board, so the effect gets bolted onto something too small to matter or too expensive to cast on curve. The fix here is to attach it to a creature that closes games on its own, then reframe the destruction so it doesn't read as pure denial. Blowing up a nonbasic and handing back a stunned basic is not the tempo hit of a clean Strip Mine; it is a two-turn tax on whichever surface the opponent was building toward, whether that's a manland, a value land, or the kind of expensive fixing that a nonbasic-heavy manabase leans on. The stun counter is the accounting that keeps the effect from being trivially symmetrical: the opponent gets their color back but loses an untap step of tempo, and every threat that arrives in that window arrives against a body already in the air. That the whole package sits on a 4/5 flier for four means the aggressive line and the disruptive line are the same line: you are not paying a premium for the land destruction, you are getting it as a rider on a curve-topping beater that punishes greedy mana without ever asking you to sit back.
