Legion Angel

Creature — Angel Warrior2 generic manaWhite manaWhite mana

The wishboard mechanic, dressed up as a flying beater. The entry trigger reaches outside the game for another copy of itself, which means the first one you cast is a down payment on the second, and the second on the third: a self-assembling four-of that only asks you to own the copies and keep them on hand. This is a design that quietly assumes a sideboard-like zone exists, and it turns a plain 4/3 flier into a card-advantage chain across a long game where drawing your fourth Legion Angel becomes the exact top-end a grinding deck wants. The friction is real: each copy still costs a full four mana with double-white in the cost, so the engine only pays off in matchups that reach the back half of the deck, and the reveal is a "may" that fizzles once you have already drained the outside-the-game copies. The compression is where it earns its slot: four card slots collapse into one deckbuilding decision, freeing space in the deck proper while promising a steady drip of evasive bodies. The lineage runs through wishes and companion-style access to hidden cards, but where those fetch answers, this fetches more of itself, a value loop built entirely out of redundancy.
