A 1/3 body with first strike and menace that conjures a 2/1 partner every time it swings: the math here is sharper than the stat line suggests. The token, Ragavan, enters tapped and attacking, so the moment this Pirate turns sideways she represents three power across two bodies. Blocking gets ugly fast. Menace on the legend forces at least two defenders into the trade, first strike means she usually survives it, and the vanilla 2/1 monkey slips in for damage if blockers commit to the bigger threat. The exile clause at end of combat is the discipline that keeps the rate from running away: Ragavan is a per-attack rental, not a permanent body, so he cannot be left back to block or chump the next crackback. What the exile timing does not prevent is a second helping of value. Because the token sits on the board through the entire combat step before it vanishes, anyone with an instant-speed sacrifice outlet (Goblin Bombardment, Village Rites, an aristocrat trigger) can cash him in for a fling or a draw before end of combat, turning the attack trigger into recurring fuel. That makes her a natural Equipment carrier, since the trigger does its best work bolted to a creature built to live in combat rather than die in it. Everything about her is aimed at the attack step: inert on defense, relentless on offense, minting a fresh accomplice each turn she declares. Ragavan would later headline a far more famous card of his own; the original is this temporary partner, summoned for one charge and sent back over the rail.
